The Estes SpaceShipOne is a 1:17 scale version of the famous Scaled Composites Ansari X PRIZE competition spaceship. The SpaceShipOne was designed by Burt Rutan and is the first privately funded spaceship to reach outer space. -- The Estes rocket duplicates the unique design of the aeronautical wonder and will blast to 400 feet into the air using an Estes B or C engine. The rocket can be recovered with a colorful, fully assembled parachute. -- This is a Skill Level 2 kit and is built using glue, modeling tools and paint. After you have constructed and painted your SpaceShipOne, simply apply the authentic decals and you have an accurate scale replica of an official Ansari X PRIZE spacecraft. -- Assembly required.
